About Bigfoot Pest Management
Our Journey to Pest Management Excellence
At Bigfoot Pest Management, the company started because Elliott Hahn was tired of how things played out after two employers were purchased by large, out-of-country investors. After a nearly decade working for somebody else, Elliott formed Bigfoot Pest Management, a local pest control business, in April 2021 with one truck and a simple rule: show up, explain the job, don’t sell something people don’t need and treat every home as if it was his own.
Elliott still answers the phone, does the new-customer inspections, first treatments, and repairs himself. Tony, a military veteran with 20+ years of pest control experience, is the maintenance technician that runs the service routes. Together that’s 30+ years doing top notch pest control on South Sound homes and businesses. The name Bigfoot is legendary and local, just like our service. The work we do is the same as it was on day one — honest answers, careful treatments, and a house left better than we found it.
Local Exterminators For Local Pests
Carpenter ants that chew through your framing, rodents that get into the crawlspace every fall, odorous house ants swarming your kitchen — these aren’t hypothetical problems, they’re what our techs treat every week across Olympia and the South Sound. Knowing which pests are actually common here, and what actually works on them, is the difference between a quick fix and a callback.
Every job starts with identifying the specific pest and the conditions letting it in, then applying a treatment built for that pest — not a one-size-fits-all spray. We’re licensed pest control operators in Washington State (WSDA #84786, WA L&I #BIGFOPM780DW), so you’re getting a technician who’s trained and accountable to state standards, not just someone with a truck and a sprayer.
We partner with a few local companies when a job needs more than pest control. For property management in the South Sound, we send people to Freedom NW Property Management. For insulation work, duct sealing and attic restoration we highly recommend Echo Energy.
